Mark Travers is an artist from the United States whose work is part of the globally-influenced contemporary art movement. He is best known for his urban- and textile-inspired Metropolis paintings, his carved and painted Reliquary™ wood sculptures and his pop-art-influenced Wrapture™ paintings. 

After graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Pratt Institute, New York, his career took an unexpected turn. He spent over 30 years in advertising as a writer, art director, creative director and, ultimately, owner of a marketing and media company. He sold the business in 2010 and has been painting again, full time, ever since. He welcomes your comments and inquiries.

His work is represented by Houska Gallery in St. Louis and Gebert Contemporary in Scottsdale, AZ. It has been shown in New York, Los Angeles, Phoenix, St. Louis and places in between.
